Ahead of the Federal Budget being handed down tomorrow night by Treasurer Jim Chalmers, Australian Grape & Wine (AGW) has sent out an email to its members informing them of its key proposed measures. The email reads as follows: “Tomorrow night, the Treasurer will hand down the Federal Budget, at a critical moment for Australia’s grape growers and winemakers. Through our pre-Budget submission, Australian Grape & Wine has provided a targeted, time-limited package to help rebalance supply, restore markets and safeguard regional communities.” The email follows AGW CEO Lee McLean previously calling on the government for urgent industry support back in late April.
